El'Fross Lin'TLaw

The only child of Le'Ross and Valparaiso Lin'Tlaw, El'Fross led a quiet and protected childhood. His father, Le'Ross was a member of the K'Nee village elders' council and his mother, Valparaiso was a sorceress / healer in the village.

At the early age of 75 El'Fross was selected by the elders, on advice from S'Roth, to be among a group of select individuals to be trained by the old teacher for purposes not entirely understood by the young elves or the council themselves. This is where he got to know S'Nfl, A'ha, and X'Ylo, the other three originally chosen. Though they trained apart, he also met the cleric-in-training S'Part and developed his fascination with L'Wehn during this period.

His abilities come naturally. He's never had to train particularly hard to be a competent fighter and his magic comes even easier. Therefore when faced with a task that requires effort, he does his best to avoid it. He will, in times of great stress, dedicate himself to a goal. However, upon completion of the goal, he will revert back to his old ways.

El'Fross has a secret fear that he is not as capable as others who have worked harder than him in their training and to hide this fear he claims superiority over potential rivals, friendly and otherwise. As his adventures continue, so does his confidence increase, to the point where it occasionally resembles arrogance, as he finds himself, as often as not, able to back up his claims.

Emotionally, spiritually, and physically efficient best describes this young elf. He has never been accused of being overly ambitious. He does as little as possible, preferring to let others lead by example, if that's what makes them happy.

The term jack of all trades, master of none comes to mind. Although reasonably proficient as a mage and thief, he prefers hand to hand combat when confronted with a challenge. Fighting and occasionally practising fighting tend to be the only physical activities El'Fross will do without complaining.

The death of the village was very traumatic for El'Fross and thoughts of vengeance course through his being at all times. He realises of course, that the survival of K'Needian Elves are the top priority of the group and agrees with this. He thinks often of the missing K'Needian elves and is anxious to find them.

El'Fross hates being called lazy and unfortunately one or two members in the group have discovered this "button". He is not above defending his honour to anyone, including those within the group. El'Fross believes he is the most formidable opponent of the four friends, although deep down he is a little worried that S'nfl might give him a good fight.

El'Fross probably respects X'ylo the most of the three others as X'ylo has abilities that El'Fross doesn't understand and hands out healing very unselfishly. He feels closest to S'nfl because S'nfl seems confident and good at analysing situations when leading the group through the forest. Although A'ha and El'Fross have had their differences, El'Fross seems to think they have grown closer as a result of their battle. El'Fross now believes (perhaps erroneously) that A'ha has a developed a certain respect for the older elf as a result of the confrontation.

Having spent his life in a group setting, El'Fross tends to easily go with whatever the consensus is, respecting the thoughts and wishes of others. The survival of the group is, above all, the most important priority. After that, vengeance comes to mind, and El'Fross is more than a little anxious to come across a group of Drow....
