Hey, Hey, Hey, and a BIG WELCOME to where I live. The map above shows the Western half of Canada. My home province, SASKATCHEWAN, is right in the middle of the Prairie Provinces. The dot on the map shows approximately where Regina (the city I live in) is located. The "Land Of Living Skies" heading is the new slogan for our provincial license plates. For me personally, the skies are living in Regina because you get a very good view of the DANCING NORTHERN LIGHTS!
1. Regina is Saskatchewan's Largest and Capital City. 2. Regina is the greatest wheat growing region in North America. 3. Regina has a population of apporximately 190,000 people. 4. Saskatchewan's nickname is CANADA'S BREADBASKET. 5. Saskatchewan got its name from the Cree Indians name for the Saskatchewan River, Kisiskadjewan.
