Bruce Alexander McCrea
1900-1977

Bruce A. McCrea, 76, died at the Caribou hospital at 11:30 Mon. night with heart trouble. He was a farmer on the Russell Road. Mr. McCrea suffered a massive attack - his first - a week ago Sun. afternoon, but was removed from intensive care eight days later. Born in Perth, N.B. Nov. 12, 1900, Burce was a son of Miles and Alvina Walker McCrea. Survivors are: His wife, Mrs. Ruby (Wark) McCrea; a daughter, Mrs. Jan (Margery) Boyer of Wyoming, RI; six sons, Harold of East Hartford, CT; Raymond and Dallas of Fort Fairfield; Thomas of Brewer, Philip of Huntington Beach, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Jean Rogers of Newmarket, Ont. and Mrs. Mildred Wark of Perth; two brothers, Harold McCrea of Tobique Narrows, N.B. and James McCrea of Woodstock, N.B.; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dorsey Funeral Home this Wed. 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services are to be held there Thu. at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Otto Palmer of Easton officiating. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: Ricky McCrea of Putnam Valley, NY; Scott and Joe McCrea of East Hartford, CT; David, John and Bruce McCrea of Fort Fairfield, Andy McCrea of Providence, RI; Martin and Brian McCrea of Brewer and Joshua Boyer of Wyoming, RI. Burial we be in Riverside Cemetery. Honorary bearers will be Glaude Gulmet of Grand Falls, N.B.; Bob McCready of Shannon, N.B.; Fred Clark, Roy Campbell, Joe Solomon, Arnold McNamee and Roy Russell.
