Following a long and courageous bout with illness, Brendon's "Great Grandma" Geis passed away peacefully in her sleep at approximately 1:35 P.M. on Monday, July 14th, 1997.

She will be missed by all who loved her.

GEIS - On Monday, July 14,1997, Odelia Geis, widow of Martin Geis, Qu'Appelle, SK, age 88 years. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Qu'Appelle, SK on Saturday, July 19, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Ed Hengen and Rev. Roy Frank Obrigewitsch. Immediately following the funeral lunch, the interment will take place in the Regina Memorial Gardens, Regina, SK. Mrs. Geis was predeceased by her husband Martin, a daughter Philomeno Hubick, a son Valentine and three children in infancy. She was also predeceased by her parents Frank and Rosemarie (nee Selinger) Obrigewitsch as well as three sisters and one brother. Mrs. Geis is survived by one daughter Lillian (George) Longpre, Qu'Appelle, SK, and four sons: Roy (Lillian) Geis, Qu'Appelle; Bryce (Rolande) Geisam, Regina; Kenneth (Diane) Geis, Sarnia, Ontario; Charles (Mary) Geis, Qu'Appelle. Nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Two sisters: Rosalie Deis, Regina and Christina (Ovid) Dupont of Lanigan, SK. One brother John (Florence) Obrigewitsch of Regina. Mrs. Geis is also survived by her neices and nephews. If friends so desire contributions to the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Qu'Appelle, SK may be tokens of remembrance.
