Behind the Scenes at the taping of
 Kevin and James Vignettes for Just for Laughs on CBC Television   (July 1997)

During the July 1997 Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival in Montreal Canada, Kevin Allardyce and James Whittingham of the Saskatchewan comedy team of James and Kevin, acted in vignettes or "interstitials" for the 1997 season of the CBC Just for Laughs TV series (coast to coast).  Shooting of the 30 - 1minute segments took place during the last ten days of the festival.  This season of JFL starring James and Kevin currently airs on Canada's The Comedy Network (CTV).

Dan Redican (The Kids in the Hall, Jenny McCarthy, Fraggle Rock) wrote, produced and directed the segments.  Dan was working on the development of a new network James and Kevin series at the time and thought of them for the JFL project.  James and Kevin made a shitload of money doing the series.

James and Kevin present a salute to toast.  Did you know that toast was invented in Montreal? James Whittingham and Kevin Allardyce taped thirty segments in Montreal, Quebec during the Just for Laughs comedy festival in late July 1997. 

Wrapped at the last location: a room in the Delta Montreal where James and Kevin show you how comedians on the road have fun in their hotel rooms.
