About Me

Hello!

    My name is Melissa. I am 18, almost nineteen, (yay!) and I live in Canada. I'm a Cancer, even though my birthday is on June 21st and some 'astrologers' would call me a Gemini, I still consider myself a Cancer.
    I have four sisters and a brother, and I'm the youngest in my family. I have four nephews and six nieces. And numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. We have a very large family.
    I have two cats, Tigger—a male shorthaired black tabby—and Gracie—a mix of things I don't know, but she's semi-longhaired and all grey. I love cats; they’re my favourite animal. I also have two turtles, Benjie and Frankie. They look like turtles. :)
    My favourite movies (all tie for first place) are: Spider-Man, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter movies (so far) and X-Men. The shows I usually watch are That 70's Show, The Simpsons, Stargate-SG1, Andromeda, Mutant X, etc.    My favourite type of music is rock, with some of my favourite bands being Nickelback, Our Lady Peace, Eve 6, Matchbox 20, Puddle of Mudd, Theory of a Deadman, Sum 41, Creed, etc, etc. . . and about a hundred others . . .
    I enjoy reading and writing especially, and my goal is to become a published author. I love reading fantasy, especially Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, J. K. Rowling, and of course, J. R. R. Tolkien. I also love Spider-Man books and comics, especially Ultimate Spider-Man. But that would fall under My Current Obsession page. :) I am currently writing my own fantasy series.     Well, that’s about all I can think of for right now . . . if you haven’t done so already, go register at my message board (The Imperium of Knowledge Online) and you can find out more stuff about me and my friends than you probably want to. :) I'll probably be updating this page as I go along, but don’t hold your breath waiting for me . . . :)
