Paisley Brook School

Paisley Brook School was built in 1916 and is named from Paisley, Ontario and from the brook that runs nearby. The school opened with about 25 students from grades one to ten. Church services, meetings and dances were held in the school. The school closed in 1957, but in 1974 the Big Muddy Tour Association purchased the school and made it a historic site. The inside is now refurnished to look as it did when students were going there for school. People may step back in time and visualize how students once lived and went to school. This site is part of the Big Muddy Tours out of the Coronach & District Tours.
