Porcelain base was used until approximately 60000 when they were used up. Another porcelain base was then issued and used until around 66000. This base has no provincial crest on the left side where the tab sits. At approximately 66000 an embossed metal base was issued and used to about 85000 when another embossed steel base was used. This version has rolled edges for extra strength.

The plate on the far right is a mystery plate. I got this plate from a person in Washington state and it is unlike all the other 1926 four number issues because of the leading zero. To make it more unusual I know another local collector who has the same number and he dug it from a dump here on the prairies. Possibly a sample?
