Basic Searcher Course
- This one day class room training and a field exercise ** (at White Butte
trails) will give you the
knowledge to participate as part of a search team and with a paid membership you will
be added to our Call-Out list.
Team Leader Course
- Part 2 of the Basic Searcher Course which runs 4 days. (32 hours)
- Weekend classes are 8 hours, weekday classes are on 2 nights, 4 hours
each.
- Prerequisite Basic Searcher Day 1
Map & Compass Course (16 hours)
The newest version of the Map & Compass course as provided by SARSAV is
being offered in Regina. The course will cover the use of a compass and
associated map work. The course will include classroom study, outdoor
activities and a written exam. Limited compasses will be available to those
registrants that do not have their own.

Training
Sunday Nights at White Butte
Training is scheduled on Sunday evenings (except long
weekends) from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. Members are encouraged to participate
to keep their skills honed and to share their expertise with each other.
