Text Box: Division 4—SoftBall Rules Text Box: Games usually last 1 hour on the week days and 1 hour and 30 minutes on the weekends. Home team supplies umpires. Player pitch. Windmill Pitching and Underhand only. No overhand pitching. Player catch. 3 strikes, the batter is out. 4 balls, the batter gets a walk. 3 outs, side retired. 7 run mercy rule. No in-field fly rule. 1 base only on an over throw. No stealing bases. Home Team bats last. Players must not throw the bat—umpire may issue a warning. Home team keeps score.
