Here are my twin Dayton 12" DVC's.  I had built these about 4 months ago and just got around to snapping some pic's.  I didn't have a digital camera during the building stage so no pic's of that.  They are 1.15 ft^3 and constructed out of 1" MDF. The front baffle is 1.5" thick and was made by laminating 1" and .5" MDF together. The internal bracing is a 1" thick wall with a 12"circle cut out of it. The brace is in the center of the box that joins to the bottom, sides and top.   All panels are dadoed for a nice interlocking fit and the driver has been flush mounted.  Each sub has its own 250 watt plate amp with the boost defeated and  the amps have their own enclosure within the sub box to prevent leaks.  The finish is Wilson Art black laminate in a semi gloss finish.  The front side was done in gray to match my Paradigm mains.  The back sides were just painted cause I got lazy.

The overall sound quality is outstanding, they blend nicely with just about any type of main speaker and they 'disappear' very well, you can hear and feel the bass, but the sound can't be located, plus they don't have that constant 'groaning' effect that some subs do. Downside is the amps can get quite hot and I've had them go into thermal protection, its easy to bottom them out with some material.
