273 - Christmas Ornament

July 2012 - This little Christmas Trees is actually a puzzle. By removing the little chain at the top, all the pieces can come apart starting at the top one. The puzzle is then to put them back in the right order as each piece is slightly different than all the others and there is only one place where each piece can properly fit. I got the idea out of a carving magazine.

October 2012 - This little ornament was an evening project at our Regina Whittlers Carving Club. It is carved out of basswood, measures about 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. It is finished by saturating with Tung Oil.
