287 -  Miss Santa

February 2014 - Miss Santa was inspired by another carving club project where we did both Mr and Mrs Santa. I wanted to do a third one so came up with a daughter for Mr and Mrs Santa. She stands 5.25" tall, was carved from basswood and painted with acrylics. Being an only child and living in an isolated part of the world, of course she is not as physically fit as she could be.
