September 2018 - I had received this piece of wood from a cousin and because
of the distinct character that would be lost using a lathe, I decided to
hand carve it using my Foredom and some larger Typhoon Carving Burrs that
helped eliminate wood faster. The end result is a very different bowl that
is approximately 9 inches in diameter and 5 inches high.
