381 Native American #2

September 2020 - The Native American is based on plains-style tribe. His shield symbols represent the four directions
with thunderbolts. He is carrying a coupe stick, which represents enemies contacted in battle, without killing. This was
considered a symbol of great courage among warriors. He is carved from a piece of cedar that came from an old CNR
wooden water tank. This wood is likely more than 60 years old. The coupe stick and feathers are carved from the
                                                                  same piece of wood.
