384 - Haida Salmon

Oct 2020 - This project was one of our carving club's longer term projects. It took a little over a year to complete but it turned out real nice.  It is about 22

inches wide and 12 inches high.  Carved out of basswood and painted with acrylics it is based on the carving style of the Haida First Nations people. It

proudly hangs on a wall in our family room and actually looks a lot smaller there. I am very happy with the results on this one.
