Scott: This robust group decided it would be great fun to travel to the cabin of Kevin's uncle at Round Lake and play DnD for 72 hours amid stinging wasps in a clover patch rather than for 72 hours amid pizza boxes in a TV lounge. Scott had no better luck than Jeff with Steve's sister, much to the jollity of everyone else. Shelley couldn't have been at the first couple of Round Lake weekends, either there was some other steely-eyed brunette there in addition to Holly (shameless sucking up to the womenfolk), or, more likely, I don't remember the first two summers whatsoever. Still, I could have sworn Shelley and Kathy were there at the same time. Actually, the first year we all started unpacking: Jeff brought the beer, Andy brought the steaks, Kevin got out the lawn chairs, and then we all looked at Leen and said, "Where are the girls?" This explains why Leen, to this day, is never trusted with anything more significant than remembering his wallet so he can buy the next round. And added later on: OK, so we can all agree at least that Leen didn't bring "enough" girls. Either that, or any number was too many. And this was definitely the year that Kathy Wilde was there (because I know that is was *not* the year after), so we also know that Steve does not think of his sister as a girl. Jeff: There is a bit of confusion about dates and stuff, ie, Shelley wasn't at the 1985 Round Lake cuz she was still in Imperial just thinking about going to University. But Scott did get horribly pissed and make a pass at Kathy which did fail. So he's got that part right. Shelley: I was not there the first year, I came in 1986 for the first time. Kathy was not at the cabin when I was there. Steve: I'm pretty sure that there were no girls or Jeffs at the first Round Lake Weekend (which explains why there was a second Round Lake Weekend). Also, Murray gets so sunburnt he made lobsters look vaguely pink in comparison. Because my sister is sure she was there at the same time as Shelley, she could not have been there this year, as Shelley came the following year. But because Shelley is sure that she was not there at the same time as my sister, Kathy must have come the first year and Shelley in 1986. This goes with my theory that there were no girls at the 1985 Round Lake Weekend, because sisters don't count as girls (unless they belong to somebody else, not me). I'm pretty sure Holly didn't come this first year. Later on Holly confirmed that she was not at the 1985 Round Lake Weekend. Jeff (Added in 2005): Kathy Wilde was there. The guys played D&D.
