Carleton Co. Sentinel, May 1, 1886 - "Died, Rockland, 14th April, Mrs. George McCrea, in her

41st year, left husband and 8 children. She was a sister of Dr. McCrea Lakeville.

Following the death of Elizabeth McCrea, George E. McCrea remarried on September 9,

1886 to Phoebe Jane (Burpee) Lloyd born July 11, 1845. She was the widow of James J. Llovd

who died March 16, 1885 at the age of 49. She and her first husband had eight children:

Diana 1867; Murray, 1869; Alice, 1874; Elizabeth, 1875; Amelia, 1877;Edith, 1881;

George, 1884; Lydia, 1885.

George E. McCrea and Phoebe Jane (Burpee) Lloyd had the following children:
