About Parry
Hello! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm Parry Johnson, and I've had a passion for photography for over twenty-five years. Parry Johnson Photography has operated as a licensed business in Regina, Saskatchewan since 1998. I currently use several professional Nikon digital cameras capable of producing superb digital images. I specialize in weddings and portraiture as well as black-and-white fine-art prints.
I believe that photography is an art form which comes alive when it shows the personality of the people in the photos, whether events are portrayed in a journalistic style or when small details are captured. Your photographs should last and be enjoyed beyond a lifetime! Therefore, copyright usage of all images is shared between contracting parties, which means that you retain the rights to all photos.
Aside from photography, I enjoy spending time with my wife (and photo assistant), Laurie, and children Shaun and Chantel. I am also an elementary school teacher, currently teaching Grade 5 with the Regina Public Schools. I'm actively involved in extra-curricular activities at my school, music, sports, church and community groups, as well as the Regina Photo Club, where my duties occasionally involve conducting and assisting with workshops, seminars and competitions.
