Here are just a few recipes that I thought you might find interesting. The first one is for a
taco salad that my family just loves to eat even before it gets to the
taco.
TACO SALAD
This salad is for the topping of tacos, but is very tasty on its own as a side salad.
1 large green pepper
1 large onion
1-2 tomatoes (depend on the size)
cheddar cheese (shredded)
Cut and deseed green pepper then dice. Do the same with the onion and tomato. Mix altogether in large bowl and refrigerate until ready to use. Depending on the amount of people you can increase or decrease this recipe. This will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. I hope you will enjoy this salad we all do.
STROGANOFF
This recipe as fairly quick and easy to make up and is also very tasty.
1lb. lean ground beef
10oz. can cr. of mushroom soup
1cup water
1 11/2oz. envelope dry onion soup mix
1cup noodles wide or medium (uncooked)
1tbsp. ketchup
1/2cup sour cream
1 yellow cheese slice broken up
Scramble fry ground beef until browned and crumbly looking. Add the next 5 ingredients to the beef. Stir and cover. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the pasta is tender but firm. Remove the lid. Add the sour cream and cheese. Stir until the cheese melts. Serves 4 to 6. If you like you could also add 1 can of mushrooms drained to the list, but we like it without.
POORMANZ CHEESECAKE
This cake is made for under $5.00 if you use all no name products. It is very different and delicious and tastes like cheesecake.
1 large tub whip topping
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
unsalted soda crackers
Mix pudding and milk together. Pour 1/2 the pudding on bottom of 9x13 pan. Put a layer of crackers on top. Cover with 1/2 the whip topping. Put another layer of crackers on top. Put the rest of the pudding on top. Layer of crackers. Put the rest of the whip topping on top. Top with cherry pie filling. Let set about 24hrs. before using. Cover and place in fridge. This will last only 2 days in fridge, because of the taste you will not be able to stop eating it. Ha! Ha! You also could use blueberry pie filling, but the taste is not a good.

These cookies are so yummy that your little critters will keep coming back for more. They are healthy ones too.

1/2tsp. baking powder
