A Brief Overview
Poormanz Graphixz began as the Poormans
website a few years back. We provided links to the best free
software that we came across. We now have much more. Here is a
quick list. Free software links, recipe search engine links,
PaintShop Pro links, free desktop wallpaper, free online games,
jokes and so much more.
For any that may be curious about me I
have an old excerpt from my About
Me page from a few years back. "CLICK
TO VIEW". It is a bit humorous.
There is a large amount of information
relating to photo correction and photo manipulation on this site.
The reason for this, is that it is an interest and a hobby. Links
will be provided throughout the pages to sites that offer free
software that will make it possible for anyone to work with their
photos in ways they could only dream of. For a quick start for DO
- IT - YOURSELFERS just CLICK. If there are questions
about the software, you can contact me. If I am familiar enough
with it I will try to help in any way I can.
If however some may not have the time to
work on their photos themselves, just contact
me explaining what you may want done and I will see if
something can be worked out.
Just a little bit of information that I
wanted to point out. In the past I was concerned with "SEARCH
ENGINE OPTIMIZATION", meaning getting major search engines to
notice your site and get a higher ranking. This involved at times
providing link backs to other websites, which in turn would link
back to you. I tried it out for a while by getting involved in
linking schemes, but these are only schemes and don't amount to
anything. I was then given advise from a major S.E.O. company, the
words were simple "KEEP IT REAL". These words are true.
For this reason I will only list quality links, this means they must benefit all, not
degrade, deprive or insult our intelligence.

The image that appears above was taken
from a much larger photo. The girl in the
photo looks happy and pretty, as most girls
do, but the background is somewhat plain
and ordinary.

We have now removed the original
background and replaced it with a less
than ordinary one. |

Now to take things a few steps further, we have applied a blur to the background in order
to bring more attention to the main subject, rather than the background.
We can also apply text in any way, shape or form, this can be done to inform, or it may be
just for fun.
