Experience:
Experience is complicated, since some were present for certain encounters and some were not. The encounters were: Wolves and Barbarian Goblins, Orcs and Goblins, and the Big Rock guy. Experience was divided per person present, and the special experience award for the Big Rock guy was given to all. If you wish a specific breakdown of your character's experience, email me and I'll send it out in XL form.

14th Ready'reat
The next morning, L'Wehn leaves while the party packs up and breaks their fast. She backtracks to the site of Blackberry's death and spends a half an hour there, still as a statue. She returns as the party departs for the pool.
The party travels to the Restoration Pool. Coderick and Sheh'Tep do not travel the last leg of the journey to the pool. The Centaurs did not like Coderick, and the K'Needian Elves feel they would be breaking the spirit of the promises they made about the pool if they let Coderick know its exact location (although at this point it would be pretty hard NOT to figure out).
They enter the area of the pool to make a horrifying discovery. Foul Orcs have somehow discovered the pool and are camped out there! They demand the rod and the globe. Of course a battle ensues.
During the battle, El'Fross' body is dumped into the pool and is restored. He tries to join the battle but has trouble getting his bearings straight. L'Wehn, who has hardly spoken to El'Fross in recent months, strides over in the heat of battle, grabs the front of El'Fross' tunic, pulls him roughly to her and gives him a very long, hard kiss on the mouth. When she releases his tunic he all but falls onto the ground.
The apparent leader of the Orcs goes down, to the party's delight, but the goblins who were previously hiding suddenly break out from cover and lift the body of the leader and take him down to the pool. Too late the party realizes what is about to happen. The orc, a definite "monster" is brought back to life by the pool. The fight is about to be on again in earnest, when the pool begins to bubble and boil from the center outward. A huge being made entirely of earth and stone rises out from the center of the pool and demands to know who has desecrated it.
The K'Needian Elves indicate the Orcs, and the huge creature subsequently squishes them all (great fun for the DM - I like to play impossibly huge damage creatures from time to time).
The Earth creature offers the party one "boon" for helping to finish off the Orcs. The party discusses this at some length.
It is suggested by A'Ha that they bring back poor Siroth the white dragon.
El'Fross adds to the debate, "Let me throw this out.... Why are we considering raising a young white dragon? Why don't we ask Rocky for a flask or two or three of his "essence" as A'Ha put it, and carry it with us, using it to further our own
cause. I am all for good karma, etc.... and will admit to occasionally going against the wishes of others for the sake of it, but frankly.... does raising a white dragon get us any closer to our ultimate goal? I liked the kid and all... don't get me wrong... but maybe we should rethink this some...."
Snf'L attempts to be pragmatic, "I Doubt that we will be able to take "Rocky" essence with us, but if we can
then that would probably be the way to go, however having said that, I doubt that we will be able to bring back any of the other "burnt" Keneedian elves, but we sure have to make the attempt. I'm a bit fuzzy on if that question was already been dealt with or not. But if we can't come up with a boon that will help us along in our quest I say we bring back the little guy if we can."
A'Ha attempts the guilt angle with Snf'L, "How about we owe him? he did get killed after all, fighting for us, right
S'nfl?"
El'Fross speaks up again, "yup... in a perfect world....we owe him... just throwing out some options .... raising the dragon doesn't move us forward in our quest.... though I'm not against it.... just wanting the group to consider all the options."
Snf'L smiles, deciding to not take the moment seriously for now and says, "Well if we're tossing out options what about making a few clones of L'wehn? Might make an interesting "party"!!!"
L'Wehn turns to Snf'L but has fire in her eyes for X'Ylo and S'Part as well, "OK, you guys are just plain sick."
El'Fross (once again smitten, after being ignored for several long weeks) says, "I am only interested in the orginal model....." *googly eyes* ....
Then El'Fross turns to the huge Earth thing and asks, "Is it possible for you to raise one (or more) people who's bodies have been burned?"
The thing replies, "I do not understand these terms you use."
At some point the party finally decides to raise the young dragon.
From the diary of El'Fross:
Once again I have fallen victim to my own over-confidence. During a confrontation with a group of evil humans (like there are any other kind) I ignored a seemingly weaker opponent, attempting to move past him to confront who I perceived to be the spokesperson for the group and I paid for it - with my life.
The second time I have died in as many months… it was more unpleasant this time. The desire to move on to the next level of existence was greater, as my ancestors seemed to call me to them. However, before I could answer their call, I felt myself being pulled back to oerth… more precisely back to the resurrection pool we have used so many times in the past.
As my body re-formed, I watch helplessly as my friends battled a large group of orcs who had invaded the pool area. Though between SNF’ls bow and L’Wehn’s sword, it was evidence my presence was not necessary for our group to be victorious. I emerged from the pool just in time to help mop up the last of the orcs. I picked up an axe that had been wielded by one of our foes and looked for a target. I was grabbed suddenly with great strength and er, as it turned out, enthusiasm. L’Wehn apparently was happier to see me alive than I might have anticipated, and there, as the battle raged around us, we embraced and kissed. Unfortunately, this was interrupted by a group of very untimely goblins who decided to throw the leader of the Orcs into the pool in a desperate attempt to raise him and turn the tide of the battle. It worked, momentarily, until a number of arrows and well placed sword shots killed him a second time before he could do much damage.
The battle ended with a confrontation / discussion between us and a huge creature made of rock that lived in the pool. The creature was unhappy that a dead and definitely UN-sylvan creature had defiled the pool. Apparently this creature was responsible for giving the pool its restorative power. It told us it had decided to leave the pool and return home. It seems that the pool will no longer be available to us to use. Caution, clearly, is in order from this point forward, if it already wasn’t.
The Rock creature did offer, as a reward for defending the pool, a boon to us. It was now up to us to wisely choose…. Siroth, BlackBerry Jam, or perhaps a fellow K’Needian’s life may hang in the balance… .the debate began.
